Biodiesel (or bio-diesel) is a diesel that is produced from vegetable oils rather than petroleum oil. To create the biodiesel, it must be processed using methanol. The biodiesel can then be used in virtually any diesel engine without any modifications.
Common sources of vegetable oil include canola, corn and waste vegetable oil.
Biodiesel is usually sold as a blend with regular diesel. For example B5 is 5% biodiesel, 95% conventional diesel.

Short-term financing is all
Short-term financing is all that stands within the way of a five year old company that wants to make ethanol. The business is set up in Louisiana. Louisiana is hoping to sell a plant to Louisiana Green Fuels. The plant was built to create sugar syrup from sugarcane and other crops. Until short term installment loans or funding options are secured, various plants will sit idle. There is a lot of money to be made at these plants, enough to keep people from having to sign up for payday loans in the future.
